^ pumpkin garland from target dollar bin $3!^
 ^ I used Chalkboard Paint + A sharpie! ^

A sleepy baby and her dog always makes my heart cozy. There is something about decorating for fall that gets me super excited! I decided I wanted to make it feel a little bit more cozy in here so I busted out my pendelton, put on some home made pot pourri. my favorite has been (2 cups water, half of an apple, peeled and cut, 3 spoonfuls of cinnamon) in a pot on the stove and let simmer. my house smells like an apple orchard.

I attended a fall launch party for a local boutique and it was so much fun! I'll share details on what I bought soon! & Im still kicking my self for not getting that cute cactus mug! Also chalkboard paint has been so fun! I painted one of my pumpkins all white and wrote boo on it, the other one I  used a paper doily as a stencil and painted around it and in the center! Marked it with a W. I have been swooning over instagram and pinterses inperation for front porches haha! its surprisingly super fun! Im already looking at ideas for christmas! ha ha!!

We discovered this purple wall and I though it was the perfect combo with what I was wearing! this romper is perfect for those fall days we are having here in michigan! it's from pac sun but you can find it here  ( I couldn't find it) & a post on me wearing it here from this summer! It's still kind of warm but a little chilly if that makes any sense at all. So I paired it with my Hunter's.

Toddler Approved Pizza Rolls!

Thursday, September 22, 2016

^ I wish you could smell them through the picture! ^

I find myself making these time and time again normally when Ava has had enough of the same thing like grilled cheese or mac n cheese, chicken nuggets (etc..) and lets not forget the days where missy refuses to eat and the dogs get it all! Nothing more frustrating then your babe not eating.

I find that Ava normally refuses food when she's teething so something soft and warm is the way to go! I seen this recipe on pinterest after doing some research on some new lunch ideas for toddlers & I came across easy crescent pizza rolls! I honestly didn't think she would like them but I was so wrong! She LOVED them! We actually had them for lunch today! She had them with pretzels and broccoli and she surprisingly ate everythingggg! You mamas know thats a struggle! haha!
1 can pizza sauce
1 can crescent rolls
mozzarella cheese (or whatever cheese you want)
string cheese
aluminum foil
+ pepperoni /veggies

Its no surprise the modern farmhouse look is taking over everyones homes. well everyone that I follow on Instagram and a few bloggers haha we can all thank Joanna Gaines for the Inspo! Since we are renting I'm looking to re decorate the wholeeeee condo. haha its going to take some time but I've already got started in a few posts back here.Im definitely no pro at decorating but its always fun to go through things you have and re arrange and move into places you didn't think would work before. I usually get the urge to do this once the seasons start to change and I find my self in OCD mode cleaning and de cluttering everything!! haha! any one else? Some of my fave farmhouse finds from around the web! how cute are those wooden signs and the wood arrow. Im such a sucker for signs if you follow on pinterest you know that I've been pinning a ton lately.  As much as I love the modern farmhouse look, I also love throwing in some boho items like this tribal rug and some cool bowls like here & here . let me know what some of your favorite home decor sites are or who your inspiration is? I love finding new home blogs to follow!  some of my favorites are ( liz marie blog, miss mustard seed, IHeart Organizing.)

Transitioning your summer wardrobe to fall + a mini look!

Wednesday, September 14, 2016

^ what a silly but^
 ^ making faces & dancing ^

Hey Again, I came across these pics from last weekend when we explored downtown, went to the park & caught up on some movie time. I posted on instagram yesterday about these adorable fringe booties we got Ava. & they are the cutest! I had to bust mine out haha! I cant tell you how excited I am for fall! I'm sure It's no surprise if you have been following me for some time ;) as much as I love summer fall holds a special place in my heart.

I busted out my flannels because I couldn't wait any longer! It was still in the 70's here so it wasnt too hot. I decided to wrap it around my waist and pair it with a striped crop top and my favorite "mom jeans" they are high waisted and I actually got them on sale forever ago at AE and they have quickly become my go to. I wore them (here). This is something that I find my self doing every year when fall rolls around. In order to transition my summer wardrobe to fall I normally take crop tops and tank tops and throw a flannel over with a high waisted skirt or jeans. As for my shoes these  brown fringe boots have been my go to for fall! (similar) they make such a staple in a simple look!

Ava's outfit is similar to mamas! Im so excited to do these mommy and me looks! I love seeing other blogger moms do this too! She has a pretty butterfly tee, paired with her cute patch jeans from gap & her new minnetonkas that are still a tad too big. I also wrapped a little flannel around her waist so she could be like mama and she kept checking it out when she would walk! haha the cutest!

A Farmhouse DIY table Makeover! + Kitchen Decor!

Monday, September 12, 2016

^ a better view of the legs with the bench, and a happy little babe photobomber haha! ^
I uploaded this pic last night on instagram! im super happy with how it turned out! I freehand it & its a tad crooked but overall cozy Inspo here

Alright so if you follow along on instagram you may have already seen my post about making over my old table and transforming it into a farmhouse style table! My mom had some left over chalkboard paint and I had to give it a try! I won't lie I was pretty nervous how this would turn out. I originally had planned to only paint the legs and distress them and sand down the top and stain it with a dark wood finish (to match the bench). Since the walls in the condo are white I didn't want everything to be white ya know?
I couldn't be more proud of how it turned out! & now I want to chalkboard paint everything haha! ( I painted that wood pallet as well! ha!) It looks like a brand new table worth a few hundred dollars! I got this table from my grandma & I liked how it looked before but I wanted to make it a little bit more modern. I also completely forgot to take pics of what it looked like before I painted the legs white (they were black.) haha so just pretend!

I thought they deserved a post in and of its self, since they are simply so pretty! Oh and thanks to the sweet old couple that walked past me (coming out of the condo) for not saying anything to me about taking some creeper status pics haha (face palm) I pretended to take pictures of the sky? haha what? Family Photos + A Dead Sunflower Field.

Tuesday, September 6, 2016

^ coolest picture ^ if I could only capture her laugh, be still my heart.

Hope you guys had a good long relaxing weekend! We went to the park, explored downtown, & managed to get some family pictures done. Alright so a little background as to why the sunflower field was dead! haha. I've had my eye on this sunflower field for a couple weeks now. We originally had plans to take pictures a week ago and it rained.

The sunflowers were so pretty and in bloom! Well since we waited a little too long they were pretty much dead when we showed up! haha. Oh well we took the pictures anyway and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!

The last time we had pictures was when Ava was 3 months old and we literally used the self timer and hurried to get pictures done! see post here (So quick shout out to my mama for taking these) The dress Ava is wearing was mine when I was little, it was a little big but looked so precious on her!
